Field Trips

Storytelling & Bookmaking Field Trips are an opportunity for 2nd to 4th graders to be inspired and encouraged in their writing. Over the course of two hours, students work collaboratively and individually to write a complete story, which is professionally illustrated and bound.

Young Authors' Book Project

The Young Authors' Book Project is a year-long collaboration between educators, students, and MOI staff and volunteers. We work to write, edit, and professionally publish an anthology of works. This year's book is called The Bold, Untold North, and it features over 6 hours of lesson plans and ideas for educators everywhere to recreate the wilderness poetry featured in the text. Other 826 MSP Programs

Right now, 826 MSP only offers field trips to 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade students. However, we offer four other programs, which you can learn about here! And we're always looking for more trained, caring volunteers! Check out how to get involved as a volunteer here.

We love our teachers! Your support and enthusiasm keep 826 MSP's programs strong. If you ever want to drop us a line (to offer ideas, to give suggestions for improvement, to say hi, or for anything in between), feel free to email info@826msp.org.

I think the field trip was very fun and engaging for all students. They were so proud of their work.
